The early 2000s marked a period of significant expansion for NDS. With over 50 points of sale across Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, the company was poised for greatness. The opening of the Syrian market in 2006 brought new opportunities, leading to franchise agreements with renowned brands such as MANGO, Promod, and the Tendam Group: Cortefiel, Springfield, and Women’secret. In 2010, a significant milestone was achieved with a partnership with the Inditex Group.
However, the onset of the Syrian war in 2011 presented unprecedented challenges. It was in this crucible of adversity that the true spirit of NDS shone through. The second generation stepped in, bringing fresh perspectives and unwavering determination. From this resilience, Talis was born in 2013 — NDS’s private label that became a symbol of adaptability and innovation.
