Knoops' Global Vision: Expanding Beyond the UK and the Future of Investment in F&B

There is a lot of talk ahead of the UK budget on the ability to grow and raise capital in the UK as opposed to other countries.Knoopswas always going to be a multi-billion dollar global brand but it has to be seen through a global lens. This lens is less readily focussed by the UK investment community on F&B brands than it is to Fin tech and AI. But as I head onto yet another international expansion call (with highly energised USA partners in this case) it is with great pleasure I see our first Dubai store nearing completion and my vision continuing to emerge of a 3,000 plus global store footprint and multi-channel operation. The UK will always be where Knoops was founded but its will be interesting to see how much of the investment benefits of this world beating brand will flow back into the UK economy rather than back to our ever increasing visionary and outward looking global investors. I dearly hopeRt Hon Rachel Reevesmanages to present the UK as an investment target for the vast sums of UK capital under deployed at present in UK based global growth companies - and that she makes the UK the place of choice for entrepreneurs... its difficult to see it as that at the moment.
